US anti-ISIS coalition jets are reported by Syrian military sources to have attacked Syrian military units at Al-Harri near the strategic town of Abu Kamal on the eastern border with Iraq early Monday. At least 38 Syrian troops are reported killed. The US-led coalition spokesman denied any air strikes in that part of Syria. In recent days, Damascus is pushing allegations of US collaboration with ISIS forces in eastern Syria, as part of the Russian-Syrian propaganda campaign to force American forces to leave eastern Syria.
