Deputy FMs of Argentina and Azerbaijan discuss Nagorno-Karabakh conflict

“Argentina is interested in expanding cooperation with Azerbaijan,” said Argentine Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs and Worship Guillermo Raimondi. He met with an Azerbaijani delegation led by Deputy Foreign Minister Khalaf Khalafov, who are visiting Argentina to hold political consultations.


During the meeting, the Armenia-Azerbaijan Nagorno-Karabakh conflict was discussed, and the sides stressed the importance of resolving the dispute based on the principle of respect for the territorial integrity and sovereignty of states in accordance with international law.

Deputy FM Khalaf Khalafov stressed the importance of providing mutual support on the multilateral platform.

The sides also hailed the bilateral relations between Azerbaijan and Argentina, noting the importance of taking the advantage of new opportunities for cooperation in different areas.
