Azerbaijan to purchase radio-electronic warfare equipment from Israel

Israel is the second largest partner of Azerbaijan in the world market after Russia. Baku will continue arms from Israel and even joint production of unmanned aerial vehicles (UAV) and other military equipment is also expected. 


Aleksey Sinitsin, the chief expert at American-Azerbaijani Progress Promotion Fund, told the aforesaid in an interview to "Detail" analytic website of Israel. 

Drawing attention to the Israeli Defence Minister Avigdor Lieberman's visit to Azerbaijan, his meetings with Ilham Aliyev, also with officials of the country's defence system, Sinitsin believes that Israel and Azerbaijan are entering a new stage of military cooperation: "In this sense, a joint production of wepons is also possible."

The expert considers that within the current visit of Lieberman, an agreement can be reached on purchase of the most modern equipment used in radio-electronic warfare.
