The Russian Ministry of Defense proposed to the United States to destroy the MK-41 decoy missiles and drones, violators of the Treaty of Nuclear Arms of middle and short reach (INF).

The official note with the referred proposal was handed to the U.S. military attaché in this country, indicated the spokesperson of the Ministry of Defense, mayor-general Igor Konashenkov.

Moscow asks Washington, before the deadline of the term for INF to be operative, indicated the spokesperson.

In its proposal, the Russian entity says it is necessary for the U.S. eliminate its universal launching ramps MK-41 on land, prepared to launch winged rockets Tomahawk. With a reach of over two thousand kilometers, Russia now refutes all accusations. Unfounded and superficial launched by Trump last February 4 alleging false accusations on the non-compliance by Russia of the INF.

The treaty signed in 1987 stipulates that all rockets, nuclear or conventional with reach between 500 and 5500 kilometers on land.

Washington conserved the missiles in ships and combat planes as the Soviet Union did not have at that time those weapons, because the Pentagon placed them in several western countries.

The local media quotes the publication The Diplomat saying a new trial was carried out by Russia of the winged missile Burevestnik, nuclear-propelled and an undetermined reach. Its practical use is scheduled for 2020.
