Vice Prime Minister for European Integration Dmytro Kuleba has said Ukraine will submit to the North Atlantic Alliance a draft of the new National Security Strategy to get relevant recommendations and proposals.

At the NATO Headquarters, Kuleba informed officials of Ukraine's readiness to increase its contribution to NATO-led missions, the Government perss service reports.

He also informed the interlocutors about the drafting of the new National Security Strategy of Ukraine. Kyiv intends to submit the draft to NATO HQ to receive relevant recommendations and proposals. During the meetings, the parties also agreed to continue the practice of joint military training, including that of the Ukrainian Navy sailors on the warships of NATO Allies.

Kuleba also confirmed that gender equality remains an important area of government work and an important component of reform. He invited NATO Secretary General's Special Representative for Women, Peace and Security Clare Hutchinson, who participated in the meeting, to visit Ukraine.

The parties also discussed the preparations for the visit of the NATO North Atlantic Council to Ukraine in late October. "President Zelensky determined that the reform of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and the defense sector in general should be implemented in line with the best world standards. Therefore, today at NATO, we talked very practical things: how the Alliance can help Ukraine become stronger and how Ukraine can help the Alliance. The Euro-Atlantic course of Ukraine remains unchanged, and the visit is one of the confirmations of this fact," Kuleba commented following the meetings.
