Iranian President's Chief of Staff Mahmoud Vaezi said on Thursday that his country is ready to take the next step to reduce its commitments to the 2015 nuclear agreement.

"If Europe does not fulfill its commitments (to help Iran take benefit from the deal), Iran will take the fouth step in due time," Vaezi was quoted by official IRNA news agency as saying.

Since May, Iran has made three moves to build stockpiles of nuclear fuel and enrich low-grade uranium to a higher level of purity, and has started up advanced centrifuges to boost the stockpile of enriched uranium which has been restricted by the nuclear deal.

Iran's moves came as a response to the U.S. unilateral withdrawal from the deal last year and re-imposition of sanctions against the Islamic republic.
