Azerbaijan Army continues counter-offensive operations to liberate our occupied lands from the enemy. Armenian side gathered additional forces in the direction of Madagiz, attempted to attack and fired on Ashagi Agjakend village of Goranboy region in order to regain the positions that they lost. However, enemy's attempt was suppressed, said Lieutenant Colonel Anar Eyvazov, spokesperson for Azerbaijan’s Ministry of Defence at the briefing held on September 30.

"Earlier, the Armenian armed forces fired two missiles from the “Tochka-U” high-precision tactical missile system in the direction of the Azerbaijani army’s positions. However, due to the unsuitability and poor quality of Armenia’s military equipment, three of the missiles fired did not explode," Eyvazov added

Beginning from September 27, up to 2,300 Armenian manpower have been killed and wounded, about 130 tanks and other armored vehicles, more than 200 artillery pieces, rocket launchers, mortars, nearly 25 air defense systems, 6 stations of control and command observation posts, 5 ammunition depots, 50 anti-tank vehicles, 55 automobile vehicles have been destroyed by Azerbaijani Units.

Currently, Azerbaijani units continue operations to destroy the besieged Armenian armed forces in the direction of Agdere-Terter and to clear the area with artillery. Armenian side which suffered heavy losses in manpower and military equipment, was unable to organize the evacuation of the dead and wounded servicemen.
