Following his meeting with US Secretary of State Mike Pompeo, Armenia's Foreign Minister Zohrab Mnatsakanyan gave an interview to CNN.

However, journalist Christiane Amanpour repeatedly reminded Mnatsakanyan of the relevant UN Security Council resolutions demanding an immediate withdrawal of Armenia's occupying forces from the Azerbaijani territories. The journalist also pointed out the UN General Assembly resolution of 2008, which calls for an immediate withdrawal of Armenian armed forces from the occupied Azerbaijani territories, reaffirms the Nagorno-Karabakh region and territories adjacent to it as an integral part of Azerbaijan, as well as Azerbaijani people's right to return to their native lands.

The journalist's opinions confused the Armenian minister. Mnatsakanyan even got into a helpless situation after the CNN journalist reminded the nationalist and provocative remarks of Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan that Karabakh is Armenia.

"Does this statement imply Armenia's desire to annex Karabakh?" the journalist asked Mnatsakanyan.

Mnatsakanyan once again avoided answering the question. He claimed that by making this statement, Pashinyan meant "Armenia's role in the security of Armenians in Nagorno-Karabakh."

The Armenian minister, with his absurd answers, found himself in a ridiculous situation like Pashinyan.
