Today Azerbaijani side handed over 100 bodies to the Armenians, through the intermediary and participation of the Russian peacekeeping forces, Defence.az reports citing Armenian media.
Russian Defense Ministry spokesman Igor Konashenkov said that in accordance with the agreements reached, with the help of Russian peacekeepers, the process of exchanging the bodies of servicemen killed in Shusha has begun. The exchange took place near Shusha and the process will continue.
This humanitarian action was implemented in accordance with article eight of the Statement of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, the prime minister of the Republic of Armenia, and the President of the Russian Federation dated November 10, 2020.
