Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev has approved the law on renaming Gushchubaba village within Garabulag rural administrative-territorial district of Khojaly district to Baharli village, Defence.az reports.

The head of state has also approved another law on renaming Tsakuri village within Chiraguz rural administrative-territorial district of Khojavend district to Hunerli village.

Both villages were liberated from occupation as a result of the recent successful counteroffensive of the Azerbaijani Army.
