Azerbaijan’s Embassy in Washington, D.C. held an event commemorating the Azerbaijani servicemen who heroically died in the Patriotic War for the liberation of the country’s territories from the Armenian occupation, the embassy told Defence.az.
A minute of silence to honor the memory of the Patriotic War martyrs were observed at the embassy at 12:00 (Washington time), December 4.
Addressing the event, Ambassador Elin Suleymanov offered condolences to the relatives and closed ones of the fallen servicemen.
