During the second Nagorno-Karabakh War, Armenia launched Iskander missile against Azerbaijan, said the representative of Azerbaijan National Agency for Mine Action (ANAMA) in their interview to Caliber.az.

- Former Armenian President Serzh Sargsyan, Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan and former Head of Military Control Service of the Ministry of Defense of Armenia Movses Hakobyan admitted that Armenia launched the Iskander missile system against Azerbaijan during the 44-day war. In recent days, the Armenian media has again started to discuss this issue, and videos showing the rocket launch have been spread on social media. What can you say about these statements?

- We have no authority to comment on such statements.

- Could your employees find any piece of the rocket?

- Since December 2020, the Mine Action Agency has started the land mine clearance operations in the newly-liberated Shusha city. On March 15, 2021, during the operations, the agency's staff found fragments of two exploded missiles.

- Can you give the coordinates of the place where the remains were found?

- The geographic coordinate of the place where the rocket fragments were found are as follows: 39 ° 45'38.10 "N 46 ° 44'33.90" E and 39 ° 45'27.80 "N 46 ° 45'25.80" E. While investigating the missile's identification number (9M723), the agency's experts found that these remains belong to the Iskander missile system.

Even on the internet, you can find out that the identification number 9M723 belongs to the "Iskander" missile.

All these facts confirm that during the Second Nagorno-Karabakh War, "Iskander" missiles have been used by the Armenians against Azerbaijan, in particular, to destroy the Shusha city.
