During the mine-clearing operations in Tartar, Aghdam, Khojavand, Lachin, Shusha, Fuzuli, Gubadli, Jabrayil and Zangilan districts, 209 anti-personnel, 400 anti-tank mines, as well as 469 unexploded ordnances (UXOs) were found and neutralized from March 13 to 25, Azerbaijan’s Mine Action Agency (ANAMA) said in a statement, Defence.az reports.
“As a result, nearly 1,126 hectares of territories were cleared of mines and UXOs,” the agency added.
